This morning we were up about 7:00 am for our transfer to
the airport and flight to Delhi. In
Delhi we had a room at a hotel near Tara’s house. She had the taxi driver bring our other
suitcases from her house back to the hotel and we spent much of the day
repacking. Paul is feeling much better
today.
In the afternoon Tara took Mary to her jeweler’s where
Mary was having her blue topaz, purchased in Sri Lanka, made into a ring. That was the only excursion today. We were picked up about 7:00 pm for our trip
to the airport.
We had dinner in the lounge and boarded the plane about
11:00pm for our flight to Newark. The
entire day (from wake-up in the morning to walking into the house in
California) took about 40 hours. We are
both beat and glad to get home.
